Definition of a Twitter Mention
The definition of what a Twitter mention is.
On Twitter someone can reply to you or simply include you in the conversation. This is called a mention. To do they add your Twitter name with the @ symbol to their tweet.
In our weekly stats email the mentions stat is the count of all mentions you received for that week.
The example below is tweet with a mention. We actually mentioned ourselves in a tweet. Yep!.. you can do that!
We just changed names to @RocketMarketing from @RocketRideSEO b/c twitter gave us our company name. Thanks @Support !
