Definition of a Twitter Retweet

The definition of what a Twitter retweet is.
A Twitter retweet is when someone clicks the retweet link on your Twitter tweet (post). That tweet is then reposted and shown to all of the Twitter followers of the user who clicked the retweet link. This makes it an excellent method for creating viral content.

In our weekly stats email, we count this as the total number of retweets you received for that week.

In the example tweet below you can see the retweet link icon (near bottom right, the sort of square recycle icon).
