Definition of a Web Form

The definition of what a web form means.
A web form is a form on a website that collects a visitor's contact information. Such as their email address, phone number and name. Typically these are used to sign a visitor up for an email list or to give them access to special content or a service you might provide. These forms are also used to register a user for a website, complete a shopping cart checkout and preform other actions.

In our weekly marketing stats email we show this as the statistic of the number of times someone has filled out and submitted a web form on your website for that week. So if only 2 people that week entered their info on forms on your website then you would see a 2 for Web Forms. This stats will be found in the email labelled as Web Forms.
